All Together in İzmir

We organised the "Alternative tools for anti-discrimination" workshop on the 15th of November at the İBB Dialogue Centre, hosted by the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, Department of Urban Justice and Equality.

We brought together representatives from different departments of the municipality and representatives of NGOs working on social justice and access to rights. During the workshop, we experienced three different games that were developed in Hep Beraber and discussed the "effectiveness of games on active learning" for children and adults. 

We also looked at cooperation between local governments and NGOs to overcome escalating discrimination in Turkey. We concluded our visit to İzmir by meeting NGOs from different regions of Turkey at the "Sivil Sesler Festival".
