multilingualism and translangualism

Group Description

Group Description Picture 1

This group understands multilingualism as an opportunity for successful learning processes. Therefore they do not only want to inform, why multi- and translingualism are important and which effects it can have to a learning environment, but also want to pass on concrete methods on how facilitators can both design and host multilingual sessions activities themselves.

The working group will develop playful methods that help making all spoken languages in the learning environment visible, incorporating them with arts and games, valuing them and support children in their self-confidence about their linguistic competences.
